How it Works

Below you will find brief information on how it is done.
in Menu “HOW IT WORKS” please look at the 4 specific submenues for specific information.

When you book time for surgery, you will receive more detailed information.

It is important that you read all the information before the surgery and get back to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Sometimes, you may need another visit before surgery.

Consultation

Prepare for the consultation by:

  • Writing down all your symptoms with a timeline, medications, and health history, so you can talk about your problems systematically.
  • Writing a list of your questions.
  • Informing us about your health and any health issues.
  • Asking your questions and demanding answers.
  • Reading your medical records and bringing a copy or asking to access them.
  • Bringing a friend for support.

Before Surgery

  • Read the instructions that you are given carefully before surgery. Contact us if something is unclear or if you have any thoughts or questions.
  • Please read our payment terms. You can find them in the instructions under Prices and Payments.
  • Before surgery, we want you to fill in a health declaration and bring it on the day of the operation.
  • If you have any medical problems the week before surgery, please contact us immediately.

Day of Surgery

  • Before surgery, you should be fasting, i.e., neither eat nor drink. How long before surgery is written on your summons and attached information.
  • It is possible to bring a family member or friend on the day of the operation, but they cannot stay while you are here. You’ll have to come back when it’s time for you to go home.

After Surgery

  • To achieve optimal results, follow your surgeon’s postoperative instructions and make your return visits as planned.
  • Take it easy for the first few days after surgery but move around. Walking is perfectly fine to do. However, don’t overexert yourself the first week.
